Omniture is now part of Adobe!
Imagine a PDF document with some kind of cookie that could tell you how many times it has been opened! Sounds cool right? Well, it could happen soon. Adobe (the ones behind Acrobat, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, ColdFusion and a bunch of other cool software) has officially acquired Omniture (the web analytics software).
(The information release letter is bellow)
Though I’m not sure about the possibilities, Adobe and Omniture make a very exciting combo – in theory anyway.
Something's wrong with Twitter.
I made the move and switched names. But little did I know that Twitter users are having problems switching account settings, usernames in particular.
Now I can only sign in with my email, but when I do the username reverts to the old one. If I click “home” to post an update it takes me to the new account with the old username.
This also means I can’t use Tweetdeck (desktop), or UberTwitter (mobile) – big problem. On top of that, when I sign in it reverts my changes (see bellow).

Changed my Twitter Username to @joseuonline!
In Twitter, Jose Uzcategui was @jose_u until today. From now on you can find me on Twitter at @joseuonline.
I know, switching names is a last resort. This will definitely will make a dent in my Twitter history. But this change was coming sooner or later for me. Plus, in internet time no one will remember the change in a few months.
But I have my reasons, here are the main ones:
Today I came across this list of Popular Twitter Clients on my printed copy of websitemagazine.com. I thought you might find it interesting.
(Today is October 20th, 2009)
Rank – Client – % of Users
Today I turn 30 years old… and though some people are horrified by the 3-0, I am nothing but excited. I’m dead-on my life’s mission, including experiencing the good, the bad, and learning as much as possible, sometimes through my own stubbornness, and sometimes by learning from others’ mistakes.
My 20s were good. Starting today, I’ll be able to say, “I remember my 20s…” They had their place. I came to Canada from Venezuela; graduated from university; lived in Japan; experienced being in love; learned to live alone; had a fair share of success and failure; and learned from everything that came across my path – and I still do most of these things.
Here’s a list of 30 tid-bits about me:

Raquel Hirsch from Wider Funnel Presenting at The Vancouver SEM Meetup
Last week the Vancouver Search Engine Marketing Meetup had Raquel Hirsch from Wider Funnel as a presenter. The presentation, I thought was great; the sound and A/V quality at Ceili’s, not so much. Here are my thoughts:
The presentation was titled The Six Landing Page Success Factors. Wider Funnel is a company that specializes in Landing Page Optimization so it was very interesting to see the different case studies Raquel brought to the group.
I’ve spent some time this morning like many others who have heard the news, looking for places I frequent on Google Maps and looking out for a glimpse of myself, my friends, overall craziness or Waldo.
I have still yet to find anything, but here’s a place where I spend a lot of time, can you tell what it is?
For those who are unfamiliar with Google Street View, check it out.
In a few minutes they’ll probably make an official announcement. William Baker (@wilhelmus) from Toursim BC just posted he’s getting ready for Google Street’s View press conference – here’s the Tweet.
I’ll update this post with later with that information, but I’m going to go with this for now, otherwise I’ll be on Google Street View all morning.

Bing, Microsoft’s new search engine, is slowly but surely becoming “the other choice” when it comes to search. It’s still small when compared to Google’s 64% search market share, but C-net recently reported Bing is now at 3rd place with 10% following Yahoo! with 16%.
And… have you heard? Microsoft is taking over Yahoo!. So this means that soon there will be no more Yahoo!, giving Bing a leg up to a theoretical 26%. With that momentum… anything can happen.
