The Vancouver SEO Meetup Group Changes Name!

The Vancouver Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Meetup Group is changing its name to The Vancouver Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Group.

The reason is that we have many members who would like to hear and discuss a variety of issues beyond SEO – in fact we do that already.

In addition, the Vancouver Online Marketing Mashup, a great Meetup with broader Internet marketing topics, recently merged with us. (Welcome all VOMM members!)

Let me put a quick disclaimer, though we’ll now welcome other popular subjects relating to search engine marketing, we will maintain our industry focus and SEO is still a big part of that focus.
